Pediatric Psychiatrist

Tirath Gill MD 
Dr. Gill  is board certified in General Psychiatry by the  American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology.  He is also board certified in several sub-specialties in psychiatry including Addiction Psychiatry, Forensic Psychiatry, and Psychosomatic Medicine. Dr. Gill has worked with children, adolescents, and adults in outpatient and inpatient settings. He has coauthored several books, including a Handbook of Emergency Psychiatry published by Elsevier Publishers that has been translated into other languages, Overcoming Anxiety - A Single Idea Can Make A Difference,  and his most recent book Delivered from ADHD; Overcoming ADHD in Children and Adults.

Lyndsey Chavez, LMFT
Lyndsey Chavez is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and has been a part of the California Psychological Institute team since 2016. Lyndsey provides direct therapy services to clients and works as one of the Assessing Clinicians at CPI. She completed her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology at California State University, Fresno in 2014. Lyndsey then went on to complete a Master of Arts degree in Couples and Family Therapy at Alliant International University, Irvine in 2016. Lyndsey has experience from being an MFT intern at Phoenix House Substance Abuse Treatment Center and an MFT associate at California Psychological Institute in working with diverse populations, anxiety, depression, trauma, adults, adolescents, and children as young as the age of 3. Lyndsey has completed training in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR). Lyndsey aspires to continue working with children, teens, and adults through a trauma-informed approach.

Lisa James, LMFT
Lisa James is a Licensed Mental Health Clinician and has been part of the California Psychological Institute team since March of 2019. Lisa provides direct psychotherapy in person and via Telehealth to individuals including children, adults and families. Lisa completed her Bachelor’s degree from Fresno State University in English in 1999. After years of working in the education system Lisa returned to school to earn her Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy at the seminary in Fresno Pacific University in Fresno in 2018. Lisa has gained experience working at Fresno County older adult unit as an Associate, working in the Fresno unified school district with children for school-based therapy along with working at the California Psychological Institute with a variety of ages, diverse population, and trauma.  Lisa has received specialized trainings in Theraplay, Eye-Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR) and play therapy to assist in working with children, adolescents, adults and families for healing of trauma and attachment disruption.

Nicholas Giotto, LMFT
Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist Nicholas Giotto has been with California Psychological Institute since 2017 and works as one of the company’s Assessing Clinicians. He completed his Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology at California State University, Fresno in 2013 and went on to complete a Master of Science degree in Marriage, Family and Child Counseling at CSU Fresno in 2017. As an associate and licensed clinician at CPI, Nicholas has worked with diverse populations including families, adults, adolescents, and children as young as three years of age, to provide trauma-informed diagnostic and mental health services.

Yomaira Suazo, LMFT
Yomaira is a bilingual Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. Yomaira has her B.A. in Human Services and received her Master’s in Marriage and Family Therapy from University of Phoenix, Fresno in 2017. Yomaira has experience in working with families, individuals and with children. Yomaira has completed training in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Therapy and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy with Child Parent Psychotherapy and Eye Movement Desensitization.
